Caño Island Snorkeling & Diving
Costa Rica’s Southern Pacific coast showcases a natural gem, spanning 300 hectares of land and serving as a refuge for many marine species not found anywhere else along the Pacific coast. It is the second-best diving and snorkeling spot in Costa Rica.
The area contains coral reefs and the visibility of the water can reach up to 20 meters deep (65 feet), which makes it easy to spot the abundant marine wildlife as sea turtles, stingrays, manta rays, moray eels, barracuda, tuna, reef sharks and snappers.
