Beginner Surf

Description:

Day one: Arrival and transfer to Dominical. Our contact will pick you up and drive to our Resort. Along the Coast, depending on your arrival time you can enjoy beautiful sea views and once in the hotel you can also use the pool and tennis court.

Day two: Lesson 1 + Canopy tour

First lesson, held during low to medium tide at Dominical Beach. This lesson teaches you the fundamentals, and how to avoid and get out of rip currents. You’ll learn how to avoid accidents in the water. The first half of the lesson is spent on the beach, where you’ll learn about the effects that tide, wind, and swell direction have on the surf, how to read and avoid rip tides, and how to read ocean swells. The second half of the lesson is spent in the water, learning how to paddle, getting to your feet, and riding some begin-ner waves.

Lessons 2-5 new techniques, monitoring and correction of errors

• Day three: Lesson 2
• Day four: Lesson 3 + Whale watching or Kayak tour
• Day five: Lesson 4 (photos)
• Day six: Last lesson + Massage
• Last day: Departure.
