SURF LESSONS Surfing is a unique combination of fun, adventure & (hard) learning! The professional and qualified instructors of the Dominical Surf School will teach you the surfing's basics and give you the knowledge you need, because once you started..... it's hard to stop! Playa Dominical is one of the best surf spots in the world, and is the ideal place to learn how to surf and it also has the most consistent wave in Costa Rica. There are close by some other beaches which are also excellent to choose from. Waves range from small, easy beginner surf, to larger more challenging waves! Dominical surf school is owned by a group of local professional surfers who participate in the main contests around the country. They have decided they can also teach others everything they need to know to get started in this challenging sport. The beginners surf instruction program covers all the basics, with a strong emphasis on ocean safety and awareness! You will learn how to paddle, catch waves and get to your feet. A full range of surfboards are provided (short boards, fun boards and long boards). The advance lessons are price like Individual lessons. Five Day Course Five two hour lessons, held at three different beaches. This course is much more intensive, and teaches you know to drop in, go "down the line" and make basic turns. Includes a quality long board for one week. Price $275 p/person.
