KAYAK TOURS min. 2 people There are several types of Kayak tours we offer: Waves & Caves on Ballena Marine Park: The tour includes transportation from Dominical, professional guide, fruits and drinks, access to the park and kayaking equipment. Kayaking and Snorkeling to Ballena Marine Park: Tour includes bilingual guide, aquatic transportation, snorkeling equipment expert captain and access to the park. This tour is operated from Mid December untill the end of April. Kayaking Tour to Hatillo Mangrove Swamps: The tour includes transportation from Dominical, safety equipment, profes-sional guide and water. White Water River Kayaking: The tour includes transportation from Dominical, professional guide, professional and safety equipment and lunch. NOTE: The schedules change depending on low and high tides. WAVES & CAVES A 30-minute drive from Dominical to the take-off section in Playa Pinuelas. During this 23-kilometre trip some stops are made where you can spot birds, monkeys, sloths etc. You will see all this along the Costanera road. Surrounded by the most beautiful scenery of the Pacific Ocean and the exuberant vegetation of the Coast. At the beach we provide you the most professional equipment. Our professional guide gets you ready for your journey and an interpreter will be there to assure that the trip will meet your expectations. For 1.30 hour we will go along the coast where you will witness the most beautiful scenery of "5 Ventanas", tropical forest, reefs, beaches and a great variety of fauna. Besides this we will take you through 2 of the 25 caves we will bump into. After this adrenaline time we go to one of the most beautiful beaches of the "Playa 5 Ventanas" area where you will be set up for drinks and fruits in a tropical style. Two more caves will be accessible by walking through them, you also have some time for kayak surfing. After having big fun at the beach we are going to paddle back to the beach where we will drive you back to the hotel. The tour takes about 5 hours. You paddle for 1,5 hour easily around on the Pacific Ocean eventually arriving at Ballena Island where your guides will set you up with drinks and fruits, and prepare you for snorkeling around the island. Or you can choose just to relax or discover the caves of the island. After this excellent time, you paddle back to the beach and you will be driven back to the hotel. The Tour takes about 5 hours. On the way there, we make some stops to see sloth, toucans and monkeys. When we get to the mangroves, your guide will get you ready with a safety talk and will explain to you the grand significance of this eco-system and introduce you to easy paddling throught the canals for 3 hours discovering the beauty and the great variety of fauna that this estuary offer.
