The Hotel Villa Rio Mar has taken responsibility for raising awareness both our staff and guests for the importance of caring for and protecting the environment. We have started an implementation of the latest energy saving technologies, making great and important changes: the use of photo cells in the hotel’s public areas, change ordinary light bulbs to the latest technology, which save more energy and are friendly to the environment, all this in order to reduce electrical waste.
In other areas and departments have also sought to implement new energy-saving procedures such as: the use of motion sensors for lights in our warehouses and various public areas of the hotel. All rooms are equipped with solar collectors or panels, designed to capture energy radiated by the sun and are used to heat water.
As a summary, we know that there is much to be done to set an example within the hotel market and that other companies follow our lead. Our goal is to create a potential impact on the environment around us. For this reason we take actions such as asking our customers to cooperate by turning off lights when leaving your room, turn off air conditioning if necessary and ask for full cooperation towards a common goal: to ensure the environment and conservation
