Caño Island is one of the best spots for diving in snorkeling near Dominical. It’s best to go in the dry season, because then the visibility is at his best. Sometimes in the rainy season the water can be a bit blurred. But even then it is a real adventure to take the speedboat and cross 65 kilometer of rough ocean. This tour will take you on a trip you will always remember! You leave in the morning from Uvita to the beach. There a speedboat will pick you up. Don’t forget to bring sunglasses; this helps not only to block the sun but also prevents the salty water from splashing in your eyes. When the tour guide spots some animals, he will navigate slowly towards them so you can see them from up close. You have the possibility to see turtles, whales, dolphins and more.
